Can you have a piece of costume jewelry dipped in gold?
ByI have a metal bracelet that was a little cheapie that was given to me. It has since gained great sentimental value. Because it was not real silver, and only silver plate, it has tarnished considerably, and I would like to have the piece dipped in white gold.
Is this possible?
Like the first answer, Yes you can. It would be called gold plating. Take it to the family jeweler, or find a jeweler if you don’t have a family one, and ask them about it. We’ve had bracelets and pendants done before at ours.
