I know what vintage means, so please don’t answer with "the item has to be older than 25 years" or "if it was stylish in the past, its vintage." Clothes don’t have a year printed on them, so what I am asking is… what are some features I can look for on an item to determine what year it was made? The way a person apraises antiques to find how much they are worth or what year they are made, how can I learn to do that with clothes?

I’d say that you can usually tell if something is vintage if its like floral pattern, the kind of material, like leather was big back then… most vintage clothes are easily found in like the Salvos Vinnies, and 2nd hand shops like that… sometimes they have some really cute clothes in there… i hope i helped… really i do! lol good luck
