and you sit at a computer terminal powered by electricity next to a hard drive that is filled with toxic metals, connected by either:
A) physical cables also containing many hazardous materials, or
B) wire less which relies on satellites that use fossil fuels, toxic metals and creates “space junk” forever in orbit…
and you complain about someone else being “environmentally responsible”???

I disagree; many …
I disagree; many handmade items are made with “mass produced tools”. It’s being HAND-MADE…not “primitive” made ( there is a place for that too). Many woodworkers use electric drills, saws, sanders, jewelers do the same…many others as well. Your dentist uses mass produced drills/tools…is his/her work any less done “by hand”? You are missing the point of the idea of “hand made”.

I do agree with hayyalife, … and to the other guy … just to be a human contaminates the planet, so its better to invest in a machine to make fun, intelligent projects that instead of buyin . for example .. pre.wood brazalets… cmmon…..

every little bit counts. It’s amazing how people miss the point and go from the sublime to the ridiculous. Your work is thoughtful and beautiful. And, ah yes…inspiring. I was wrestling between making resin jewelry and wood jewelry from reclaimed wood and now I have my decision.

I completely agree with you, except for the fact that the wood I’m using has not been pressure treated in any way, which is exactly why I use it. Thanks for the feedback!

zero does have a point though.
the treatment that that pressure treated wood goes through is pretty toxic.
Until 2003, chromated copper arsenate was used to preserve pressure treated wood. They now use less toxic compounds, but who knows….
I would do a bit of research before calling people names…

do you have any idea of the chemicals used to make everything in that shop you are working in….. idiot
