Making my own bridesmaid jewelry?

Has anyone ever made jewerly for their bridesmaids? I wanted to make a simple choker necklace with some dangly earings. I’m pretty crafty, just never made jewelry yet in my life. Anyone got any good sites with instructions on how to make a simple piece?
a lot of bead shops have classes to learn or you can pick out your beads, materials and they will help you make what you want.,, my neice does this quite often and saves lots on her jewellery
