how good are the jewellery stones available in road side of tourist places?

i find stones and jewellery with stones all over the roadsides of tourist places like outside of sai baba ashram in whitefield,bangalore.usually kashmiri’s sell them.
how good are they?do i need to bargain?
They are all FAKE AND USELESS. The stones are glass pieces and the jewellery are imitations. Do not buy them. Buy only from renowned jeweller or stones dealer. If you want to buy them for children you can do so but bargain.

They are as useless as the gems you buy from a reputed shops. Also they may not have any genuine market value.
Still if you like to buy them do bargain, start with one tenth of price they asked.

Negotiate as hard as you can and do not expect them to be anything other than pretty glass baubles at best, acrylic at worst ! Happy shopping.
